Travel Dynamo is a web app for travel agents and destination management companies — think client management, trip planning, and itinerary building all in one place. We came in to design the full product from scratch, with a clear brief: make it modern without feeling cold, and handle a lot of complex data without overwhelming users.

We started with the core workflow — itinerary creation. This is where agents spend most of their time, so we built custom interfaces for each activity type (flights, hotels, tours) and added an Activity Library so agents can reuse and modify past work quickly. For trip management, we organized dense booking data into tabbed views that let agents find what they need fast. The calendar integrates upcoming trips, task deadlines, and even client birthdays — small touches that help agents stay on top of relationships, not just logistics. We also tackled group travel coordination with a personnel management system and direct client chat for updating details on the fly.

The client-facing itinerary became its own product moment — an interactive site with full trip details, an embedded map, and a bookings page with downloadable PDFs.

The result: a tool that feels inviting but handles serious complexity — exactly what busy travel agents need.

Image displaying a color palette with blurred circular patches in different colors on a dark background. Each patch is labeled with its respective color name and hex code: Orange (#FF9966), White (#FFFFFF), and Purple (#C78FFF). The labels are presented in a clear, easy-to-read font, aligning with each color's position.
Screenshot of the 'Travel Dynamo' travel management application interface, overlaid on a serene twilight landscape. The interface displays upcoming trips for various families, including the 'Oder Family Antananarivo Vacation', 'Rossi Family Paris Vacation', and 'Silva Family Adventure'. Each trip card shows destinations, dates, the person responsible, task status such as 'Pending task' and 'Awaiting agent', and pricing information. The UI has a search bar on top with a dark purple theme, blending seamlessly with the background scene.

The screen shows a user dashboard for the 'Von Ohlen Family Paris Vacation' with various panels including tasks, files, messages, and itinerary. The dashboard is well-organized, featuring sections like 'Client Information', 'Budget Tracking', and a to-do list with tasks like 'Send form to client' and 'Pay DMC invoice'. The UI is sleek with a dark theme and purple accents, enhancing the visual appeal and readability.

The 'Client Information' section lists Melinda Von Ohlen, William David Von Ohlen, Sophia Marie Von Ohlen, and Alexander James Von Ohlen. Another section shows 'Von Ohlen Family Paris Vacation' with details including location (Paris, France), cost ($20,000), and dates (Sep 6, 2024 - Sep 14, 2024). A 'Discovery and Relaxation' activity is highlighted with a location in Nice, France. The 'Notifications' section displays messages and itinerary updates, including one for the Von Ohlen Family Paris Vacation.
Graphic display showing the date 'April 3, 2023' in large, white font centered on a vibrant background with a gradient of purple and pink hues simulating a twilight sky. Above the date, the word 'Today' is displayed in a smaller font, indicating the current date. The color gradient creates a calming and visually appealing background. Screenshot of a task management interface from 'Travel Dynamo,' featuring tasks related to the Von Ohlen Family Paris Vacation. The interface, in a dark purple theme, shows an active task titled 'Send form to client' with a detailed description instructing to prepare and send a feedback form. This task card includes an image, labels for 'Pre-Travel', user icons indicating team involvement, and interaction icons such as thumbs-up, comment, and timer indicating 4 days left to completion. Below is another task labeled 'Pay DMC invoice,' categorized under 'Payments' and 'Pre-Travel'.
An online itinerary interface featuring a map view and a schedule for a travel plan. The top section includes a navigation menu with options such as Home, About, Bookings, Interactive Map, Trip Overview, and Contact. The schedule on the left side lists activities for March 29, 2023, including check-in to a hotel at 11:20 PM and a city center tour in Paris. The map on the right side displays various locations marked with letters, and a highlighted route for a private transfer via Jaguar. The interface is set against a purple gradient background.
